GTEM Cell

GTEM Cell (Giga Transverse ElectroMagnetic) is dedicated to radiated emission measurements and radiated immunity tests on small equipment according to standards IEC / EN 61000-4-3 and IEC / EN 61000-4-20 for what concerns these latter.
This standard equipment in the context of EMC tests is also positioned as a back-up means to control operation of field probes (calibration) and to produce illuminations under incidence and controlled polarization therefore very complementary to reverberation chambers (inter-comparisons).

Scientific results
  • characterization and analysis of reproducibility of measurements in a GTEM cell for immunity tests in a test volume 30 cm x 30 cm x 18 cm ;
  • evaluation of immunity test devices as part of a GTEM cell and reverberation chamber test campaign. This campaign demonstrated, in this case of a single coupling path, that the immunity threshold in GTEM corresponds to this same field component in reverberation chamber (1 article published in journal IEEE transactions on EMC and 2 communications in international conferences).
